Engine details: The OEM 4 barrel carb had dried out the gaskets and leaked. Dad had purchased a 6 pack set up but never installed it. When it became mine, I had an old school mechanic install the 6 pack. The top of the intakes are 3/8 inch from the underside of the hood. I use a piece of home air filter sandwiched between the two for driving around. The 6 pack really looks good.
Other details: No hard top was included. Good resto but right front bumper seems to be pushed back farther than the front left side. The tires on it were made in 1979 ( G78-15). They trailered it home from KC. Dad just drove it around easy. Recently, I just drove a bit on them and changed them out at 43 yrs old. The bead had started to come apart inside but the outside look new. There was a marble size ball of rubber inside one of the tires from where the i/s bead had come loose and gathered.

Car history:
My Father went to KC and purchased this from the annual corvette auction back in April 2011. The story goes that seller was from Chicago and needed to raise funds due to the stock market's steep decline from the housing boom collapse. It was one of five '62's being sold that day. Dad bought the third one up as the first two were high end show cars.

FYI: The third covid shot (booster shot) killed my Father. Please, do not ever take another covid shot - it is designed to kill you.
